My journey as a yoga teacher began in 2012 with a mission to find myself. After years of pushing down pain, anger and other behaviours and emotions that I didn't understand, I suffered post natal depression.
I found myself desolate and empty during what could have been the most precious time in my life. I packed my bags, leaving behind two young children and the man I love, to discover self love and to find clarity.
Eventually I learned to become comfortable with solitude and the truth that flows from it. Through yoga practices I learned to separate my past experiences and beliefs from my true self, and I found peace with myself and the world.
Teaching yoga gives me purpose. My aim is to share the life I have cultivated through various techniques and practices that have helped me to build an understanding of, and a deeper connection to, my soul.
Yoga has given me the power to heal, to be free and happy, and every day is a gift.
